DESCRIPTION:Please mark your calendar and plan to join us for a closing party with Taco Bar on Saturday\, October 7 at 5PM. In the past all closing and opening parties have been at noon but we decided to change things out a bit and move to event to late afternoon so we can enjoy the final sunset of the year. \nPlans are not yet finalized but the cost will be in the area of $8 to $10 pp with children’s price “negotiable”. \nThere will be a sign up at the club and via email so we know who is coming. DESCRIPTION:The South Shore Yacht Club Gangsters will be invading the club this year. This will be a fun and exciting 2-days event that will finally take place again at Salem Willows YC after a few years of interruption. \nThe party will start around noon on July 22 with a barbeque lunch. Italian Dinner will be served at 7 pm with music and dancing on the deck. Sunday morning\, breakfast will be served for all the gangsters still standing. \nPlease join for this gangsters’ party at the club. (Water guns are welcome but leave your live firearms at home). Come and have some fun! \nPrice is $60 per person ($50 for those staying Saturday only)\, collected at the club on Saturday. \nOnline RSVP requested by July 18th. A traditional celebration of the summer solstice\, Midsummer is the longest day of the year (June 21). The celebration of the summer solstice is a very ancient practice\, dating back to pre-Christian times. \nPlease Join us for this year’s Summer Solstice Party on June 24th at 6:30pm with a culinary feast in our beautiful Club house. This is our 10th anniversary of this event. \nPlease register early since the party usually sells out quickly due to the 60-person limit. \nMENU \nAppetizers \nSmörgås Bord \, with homemade graved and smoked lox\, boiled eggs\, ham and cheese\, charcuterie  style rolls ups\, shrimps served with rye bread and crisp Swedish Wasa bread and many other delicacies.  \nMain course \nChicken Schnitzel with brie cheese topping and lingonberry sauce.
