SUMMARY:SSYC Invasion At South Shore
DESCRIPTION:SSYC-SWYC Back to the 70’s Invasion July 19-20 \n  \nThe Salem Willows Yacht Club will be invading the South Shore Yacht Club again this year.  This traditional 2-days annual event will take place at SSYC in South Weymouth. We will celebrate their 70th anniversary. \n  \nThe Salem Willows fleet will depart on Saturday in the morning and rendezvous in the Boston Harbor around 11 am. The SWYC fleet will then parade up the harbor to arrive around noon time at SSYC for a cookout lunch.  Dinner will be served around 6:30 pm with music and dancing to follow.  Dinner menu will be Prime Rib or Baked Stuffed Shrimp or Vegetarian. The next day\, breakfast will be served Sunday morning from 8-10 am before leaving the dock. \nPlease join us for this Back to the 70’s Invasion party at SSYC either by boat or car. Come and have some fun! \n  \nPrice is $60 per person for the 2-days event or $50 for Saturday only. Being in the late afternoon\, it seems fitting that this also be a potluck gathering. Feel free to bring something to share with your clubmates. DESCRIPTION:SWYC / SSYC Casino Royale Invasion \n  \nDate: Saturday 8/1 and Sunday 8/2 \nLocation: SWYC \n  \n  \nSouth Shore YC is invading Salem Willows YC on Saturday August 1st and Sunday August 2nd. SSYC fleet will be leaving South Weymouth on Saturday morning and arriving at the Willows around noon. The SSYC boats will be using the Willows docks and moorings that weekend. \n  \nWe will have a BBQ style lunch around 12:30 PM on Saturday. Buffet style dinner will be served at 6:30 PM followed by games and music. (BYOB). The theme of the event is “Casino Royale”\, so dress up accordingly for the high-stake games and join us for the party at SWYC. The best costume will be rewarded! Come and have some fun! The next morning\, a hearty breakfast will be served Sunday from 8-10 am before the SSYC boats leave the Willows. \n  \nPrice is $60 per person ($10 for Saturday lunch\, $40 for Saturday dinner\, $10 for Sunday breakfast). Half price for kids 5 to 12 y.o. and free for kids under 5. Reservations required. You can reserve for the full event or part of it only. \n  \nPlease RSVP no later than 7/29 by visiting our online reservation page: https://tinyurl.com/2026Invasion . \n  \nClick the “Sign up” box at the bottom of the page\, then click the “Save and Continue” button that pops-up at the bottom. This will bring you to the next page where it will ask for your name\, the total number of people in your party\, your email and phone number. You need to indicate if your party plans on attending the lunch\, dinner and breakfast. (If you have food restrictions that require special accommodation\, you can indicate it in the comment section.) Only one sign-up needed per party please. \n  \nIf you are coming by boat from SSYC and need to reserve a dock or mooring at the Willows\, indicate also your boat name\, type (motor/sail)\, length and draft in the sign-up. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, August 22 from 6- to share the artistic endeavors of your fellow talented members and invited guests.  In years past we’ve showcased paintings\, jewelry\, multimedia\, photography\, sewing\, quilting and music.  Some artists will have goods for sale or entertain commissions. \nThis is a free event\, open to members and their guests. No signup is required.   As always BYOB\, but we encourage you to share.  Feel free to bring snacks to share\, but due to space and to respect the artists’ work these will be limited to the porch. \nIdeally we get some live music – you know who you are…… \n  \nWork Hours – a couple of people to assist with setup and breakdown are needed.
