SUMMARY:Coast Guard Auxiliary Vessel Inspections
DESCRIPTION:In preparation for boating season this year\, now is a good time to check your USCG required equipment and replace any safety equipment that is outdated or worn out. This year’s SWYC Annual USCG Auxiliary Vessel Inspection Day is scheduled for Saturday June 22nd beginning at 8:30 am. There will be “Federal Equipment Requirements and Safety Booklets” available inside the Club in advance of the event. This no-cost event is a courtesy inspection designed to help ensure boaters have the equipment needed to keep them safe on the water. A signup sheet will soon be posted on the Club bulletin board for those who would like to sign up.
