Club Boating Program – Now in Our Second Year!
We’re excited to kick off the second season of the Club Boating program at Salem Willows Yacht Club. Thanks to strong interest and generous support, the program has expanded beyond its initial offering. We now have a fleet of two Rhodes 19 sailboats for use by SWYC members participating in this program. We are also pleased to announce the generous gift of a Flying Scot from Beverly Sailing Association, which we hope to make available for qualified sailors later in the season as well.
Participants must demonstrate basic sailing knowledge and boat handling experience and be members in good standing of SWYC. (Click here for more information about SWYC membership.) The annual program fee is $250 for individual SWYC members to help cover maintenance and storage. Additional household members may join the program at a reduced rate of $125 per person.
Qualified participants can reserve boats for morning, afternoon, or evening sessions. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis (restrictions apply). Members may bring family and friends along for the sail at no additional charge, up to the boat’s maximum capacity of 6 people.
