Types of Membership
There are three types of memberships: Full, Partner, and Associate.
Full Membership entitles the member, the member’s spouse and children under 18 years of age, the use of all club facilities and functions. This includes waterfront access to an owners 1 approved mooring, as is permitted by the City of Salem Harbormaster.
Partner Memberships are for individuals who are partners or co-owners with Full Members, who maintain a boat at SWYC. Such membership allows the applicant to join the club without waiting for a vacancy. Partner Memberships have the same options as a Full Member, except the right to maintain a mooring.
Associate Membership entitles use of the clubhouse facilities; but NOT the use the docks, ramps, launch, tenders. This allows attendance at club functions.
Sponsorship by a Full Member is required to apply for Membership.

- Senior members (age 65+) with 5 years of Full or Partner membership are waived such fee.
