We are excited to announce a brand-new Club Boating program here at Salem Willows. The club has acquired a Rhodes 19 sailboat available for use by SWYC members who want to participate in this program.
Applicants to the Club Boating program must demonstrate basic sailing knowledge and boating handling experience and be members in good standing of the SWYC (click here for more information about SWYC membership). There is an annual fee of $250 for SWYC members who want to participate in this program to cover the cost of maintenance and storage of the boat. (Additional family members who want to participate as individuals can join at a reduced fee of $125.)
Participants who satisfy the requirements to the program can reserve in advance the Club boat for morning, afternoon or evening sessions. Reservations will be accepted on a first come first served basis (restrictions apply). Participants can bring family and friends along with them to sail at no extra charge (up to the boat capacity limit of 6 people).
