On Tuesday, July 28th at noon time, we have our Veterans on the Water event at SWYC.
The rain date is Wednesday the 29th.
First of all, if you are a veteran, we want you to attend the event.
If you have a family member that is a veteran, please invite them as well.
The event is open to local veterans and their caregiver or spouse.
If a veteran is coming, please have them RSVP to me at [email protected] or (978) 335-7724.
The event starts at noon time with our Commodore welcoming the Veterans.
Any Veterans interested in a boat ride are then sent to the floats. It will be high tide so the gangway will be pretty flat.
If a veteran doesn’t want a boat ride, they will be taken care of on the deck and supplied drinks and snacks.
Around 2pm, we will start the BBQ hosted by our Vice Commodore.

I am looking for a few more members to volunteer their time and boats to the event also.
A couple of sailboats would be good, but the majority of veterans prefer power boats.
If you are available, please RSVP to me with the details of your boat and the number of Veterans you wish to take out.
